1 cup Bread crumbs soft
2 tbsp Butter melted

Is there any better family meal than an Easy Tuna Noodle Casserole With Cheddar Cheese? You can whip up this casserole in no time using just a few ingredients from your pantry including canned tuna, mushroom soup, and some pasta. I usually use macaroni but you can use any pasta you have handy.

To make this delicious casserole, start by combining noodles, soup, peas, cheese, tuna, and milk in a large bowl. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper and transfer to a prepared baking dish. In a small bowl, toss the breadcrumbs with the melted butter and sprinkle over the top of the casserole. Bake the casserole until hot and bubbling and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.

Heat oven and prepare casserole dish

Preheat the oven to 350 °F. Lightly grease a 2 ½ - 3 quart casserole dish.

Assemble casserole

In a large bowl, combine 12 ounces of medium cooked and drained egg noodles with 2 cans of condensed cream of mushroom soup, 2 cups of cooked green peas, 1 ½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese, 2 cans of drained and flaked tuna, and ½ a cup of milk. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper and transfer to the prepared baking dish.

Top with bread crumbs

In a separate smaller bowl, toss 1 cup of bread crumbs with 2 tablespoons of melted butter and sprinkle the topping over the top of the casserole.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 - 20 minutes until the casserole is hot and bubbly and the bread crumbs are browned.
