Spiced Carrot & Lentil Soup
This Spiced carrot & lentil soup is delicious and really wholesome. I love spiced soups and I always try to add cumin and chilli flakes to my veggie soups for a warm hearty bowl of goodness. The depth of flavor these spices bring to a humble soup always surprises me!
It’s super simple to make too. Start by toasting the cumin seeds and chilli flakes. Reserve half of the toasted spices before adding olive oil and the remaining ingredients to the pan. Simmer until the lentils are soft, then blend and serve topped with plain yogurt and reserved toasted spices.

I love this carrot soup, It has such a unique taste and the instructions helped a lot, making this soup become a walk in the park to make.
The soup turned out to be bland and mushy, despite that it still tasted really good but I prefer the Creamy corn soup instead.
I really wanted to give this soup 5 stars but it was missing a lot of spices..In the end I added a lot more to it but it was still alright.

Normally I'm not a big fan of soup since here in U.S we don't really make soup before any meal, but this one had me curious and since the holidays were coming up I figured I'd give it a try. I do not regret my decision as this turned out to be one of the best soups I've ever had, thank you for sharing this, will be bookmarking it.

Soup is not my favorite thing to make since anything and everything can go wrong with just a little too much of one ingredient, but this recipe really did well with putting the right amount of everything, turned out great.
Recommended this soup to my co-worker since she was trying to find new and interesting things to cook, she came to work the next day with an extra container of this just for me and I have to say it's a really amazing soup, will be making it for myself some time.
