I love this Homemade Whole Wheat Crackers recipe because it is healthy and tasty. As you know, I love making things from scratch, but I always thought crackers were too difficult to make at home. How wrong was I!

To make these crackers, start by mixing flour with wheat bran, salt, and sesame seeds. Pour water and oil into the flour mixture. Knead the mixture together until you have a smooth dough. Divide the dough into 2 equal pieces and roll each one out until thin. Cut into small rectangles and stab holes in them with a fork. Bake and cool completely before serving. Enjoy with cheese, hummus or your favorite salad.

Preheat the oven to 350 °F and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

Mix dry ingredients

Combine 1 cup of whole wheat flour with 2 tablespoons of wheat bran, 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds and ½ a teaspoon of salt in a bowl until fully combined.

Add ¼ cup of sunflower oil and ½ a cup of water to the dry ingredients and mix together. Knead until the dough is smooth and doesn’t stick to the side of the bowl.
